Location: Wayland, MI Shift: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Friday | 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM Pay: $19.00 per hour
Job Summary
Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator / Machine Operator to support production by operating fabrication equipment, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and ensuring parts meet specifications. Candidates must have experience with machine operation, sheet metal fabrication, measurement tools, setup/changeovers, and safe material handling while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
· Operate sheet metal fabrication and production equipment · Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders · Perform machine setups and changeovers for production runs · Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and product quality · Conduct quality inspections to ensure specifications are met · Safely handle materials and finished products · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area · Identify and report equipment or quality issues · Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Previous sheet metal fabrication and machine operation experience required · Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality · Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
