- Preparing wood surfaces : Sanding, cleaning, and inspecting wood for defects to ensure a smooth finishing process.
- Applying stains, paints, and finishes : Using spray guns and other finishing equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality results.
- Maintaining quality standards
: Ensuring all finished products meet company specifications and visual requirements.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area, collaborate with team members to meet production goals, and assist with minor equipment maintenance.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wood finishing, staining, or related woodworking roles.
- Ability to operate spray guns and finishing equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to train on 1st shift if required.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail : Ensures high-quality finishes and consistent results across all products.
- Equipment Operation : Ability to use spray guns and finishing tools safely and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration
: Works well with others to meet production schedules and maintain workflow.
