Job Summary:
Are you a motivated and detail oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to ensure customer orders are accurately processed and shipped, keeping our dynamic warehouse running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Shipping Clerk, your core responsibilities will include: Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and prepare customer orders, ensuring everything is packed perfectly and ready for shipment. Packaging and Labeling: Securely package products through shrink-wrapping, boxing, and precise labeling for their journey. Warehouse Organization: Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse by keeping shelves stocked and tidy. In addition, you will also be expected to support shipping and production operations, stepping in wherever needed and always prioritizing safety.
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or 1-3 years of related warehouse/shipping experience Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently throughout your shift
Skills:
Attention to Detail: Essential for accurately picking, packing, and labeling orders. Manual Dexterity: Important for efficiently handling equipment and products. Teamwork: Necessary to collaborate with colleagues and support various production roles, including training new team members.
