Job Summary
This role is critical to ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely shipment of high-quality enzyme-based products while maintaining strict safety, quality, and documentation standards. As a Shipping Clerk, you will support daily shipping, inventory, and logistics operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Shipping Clerk, your core responsibilities will include:
Order Fulfillment & Packaging
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and ship finished goods
- Ensure orders meet customer specifications and include all required documentation
- Verify product counts, lot numbers, and packaging accuracy
Inventory Management
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and finished goods
- Stock products in designated locations following inventory procedures
- Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy
Logistics & Shipping Coordination
- Schedule carrier pickups (FedEx, UPS) as needed
- Track outbound shipments and resolve shipping discrepancies
- Communicate with logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery
Systems & Documentation
- Use shipping and ERP systems (FedEx/UPS software) to generate labels, packing slips, and shipping records
- Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant shipping documentation
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Follow FDA and OSHA regulations at all times
- Properly handle temperature-sensitive or regulated materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong computer skills are required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs repetitively; must be able to lift over 100 lbs as required
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment
- Previous forklift or hi-lo experience preferred
