Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team in Garrett, IN. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely shipment of high-quality enzyme-based products while maintaining strict safety, quality, and documentation standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Shipping Clerk, your core responsibilities will include:
● Order Fulfillment & Packaging: Accurately pick, pack, label, and ship finished goods while ensuring all orders meet customer specifications and include required documentation. Verify product counts, lot numbers, and packaging accuracy.
● Inventory Management: Receive and inspect incoming materials and finished goods, stock products in designated locations, perform cycle counts, and assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
● Logistics & Shipping Coordination: Schedule carrier pickups (FedEx, UPS), track outbound shipments, resolve shipping discrepancies, and communicate with logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery.
● Systems & Documentation: Utilize shipping and ERP systems (FedEx/UPS software) to generate labels, packing slips, and shipping records while maintaining accurate and organized documentation.
● Safety, Quality & Compliance: Follow FDA and OSHA regulations, properly handle temperature-sensitive or regulated materials, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.

In addition, you will collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely shipments.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED required
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
● Basic math skills
● Strong computer skills required
● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
● Strong communication and teamwork skills
● Previous forklift or hi-lo experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
● Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs repetitively and over 100 lbs as required
● Comfortable working in a warehouse and production setting
