Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Shipping & Receiving Associate
to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the accurate and timely movement of products in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and printing labels for products and shipments
- Pulling and checking orders for accuracy
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
- Receiving purchase orders (P.O.s) and labeling incoming products
- Storing received products in designated areas
- Preparing and shipping UPS orders
- Scheduling shipments and pick-ups
- Operating a computer to manage order and inventory data
- Performing general cleaning duties such as sweeping and keeping work areas tidy
- Conducting general maintenance tasks as needed
- Making deliveries and/or pick-ups as required (must have a clean driving record)
- Performing other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Skills:
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
