sponsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming stock
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery
- Perform waxing and light assembly of products before shipment
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (experience required)
- Use Insqel, a sophisticated system designed specifically for fastener companies, to manage orders and inventory
- Use shipping portals to manage outgoing shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, to include emptying the trash
- Remain vigilant and follow all safety protocols to avoid potential exposure to hazardous or dangerous conditions in the work environment
- Perform inventory counts and restocking
- Communicate with customers via phone and email
- Follow safety guidelines and all company procedures
Qualifications:
- Prior shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Previous forklift experience or certification required
- Comfortable using basic math and performing data entry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs, occasionally more, and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, reaching, and standing/sitting for extended periods
- Able to read, write, and follow verbal/written instructions in English
- Must have a working cell phone
- Organized, dependable, and a team player
