Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking an Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team in Montague, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to maintain accurate inventory, ensure efficient material flow, and keep the warehouse running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist , your core responsibilities will include:

Inventory Management: Restock products on shelves and pallet racks to maintain organized and efficient storage.

Inventory Counts: Perform cycle and physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and availability.

Order Preparation: Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
In addition, you will also be expected to remove obsolete or discontinued items from inventory, wrap skids for transport, and assist with general warehouse organization.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:-
Previous inventory management experience required

Warehousing or manufacturing experience preferred

Fork truck license or willingness to train

Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in counting, labeling, and stocking inventory.

Mechanical Aptitude: Helps identify and handle products safely and efficiently.

Teamwork: Works effectively with others to maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

Dependability: Strong work ethic and safety-focused attitude to support daily operations.
