Job Summary
We're looking for a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Shipping / Receiving / Yard Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials in and out of our facility, ensuring accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
Responsibilities
- Track incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate receipt and shipment
- Sort and move materials to designated areas
- Operate forklift and other equipment as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Perform general yard work and upkeep
Key Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs consistently and repetitively
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for tracking and reporting
Preferred Skills
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Ability to operate other equipment such as pallet jacks, cherry pickers, etc.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
