The Shipping and Warehouse
Supervisor
will oversee all Shipping/Receiving at
TEC
Products and
manage our

,000 square foot warehouse. We ship orders on weekdays (and occasional weekends) and take pride in our high standards for customer service, continuous improvement, attention to detail, teamwork and communications,
organization,
and efficiency.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee and perform shipping duties for all sales channels including, but not limited to, web orders, palletizing for shipment.
- Retail software will be used to track, check, prioritize and route orders.
- Manage all important documents such as shipping, advanced shipping notices, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate competitive prices, and stay up to date on changes in the shipping industry.
- Ensure warehouse efficiency by purchasing supplies, setting the standard for organization/cleanliness, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
- Oversee the usage of the forklift and provide/coordinate training of other employees as needed.
- Operate with a continuous improvement mindset by proposing improvements, working collaboratively with team members, and management as necessary.
- Improve and maintain standard operating procedures for shipping, product stocking and warehouse organization.
- Be a team player.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years’ experience shipping domestic and international packages and freight
- Strong work ethic and appreciation for physical labor required for warehouse work.
- Experience using inventory management software, shipping software, project management software.
- Excellent communication and computer skills are needed.
- Ability to drive and maneuver a forklift.
- Proven ability to manage a variety of priorities, planning today while organizing work for the future.
Education:
- High School
- Three ( 3 ) years related experience.
Job Requirements:
- Must be dependable.
- 3 years’ experience facilitating shipments via freight or LTL, required.
- Work fast-paced environment, while under pressure
- Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize and be detailed- oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, including weekends and holidays, when customer demand changes
Education:
- High School
- Three ( 3 ) years related experience.
Experience/Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong planning, organizational and counting skills along with flexibility and the ability to make decisions.
- Physically able to lift 1 - 75-pound boxes to accommodate shipping and receiving
- Forklift
