Responsibilities:
- Will work in the shop using hand tools to assist with assembly of railings/awnings/sunrooms
- Help lead and manage the production team to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.
- Assist with overseeing daily shop floor operations, including workflow coordination, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Help implement and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and deadlines.
- Monitor and improve production efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and team building abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience working with hand tools.
- Experience working in construction, roofing, fence installation, carpentry, or other positions is a huge plus.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to work on feet all day.
- Ability to take constructive criticism.
- Read and understand work instructions.
