SIPs Shaper
Location: Holland, MI Pay: $19-$21/hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a SIPs Shaper to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping and finishing Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to blueprint specifications, ensuring each panel meets the highest quality standards before wrapping and shipment
What You'll Be Doing
As a SIPs Shaper, your core responsibilities will include:
- Fabricating SIPs using various hand tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Maintaining quality standards and performing final inspections
In addition, you will also be expected to operate hi-lo and overhead cranes, assist in problem-solving, and perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic construction skills
- Ability to read blueprints and measurement tools
- Woodworking or carpentry experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Skills:
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and teamwork with fellow team members
- Commitment to maintaining quality standards and a clean work environment
