Job Summary
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for an opportunity in a warehouse environment? We're seeking a Small Parts Associate to join our team in Grand Haven, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing customer orders, picking and packing parts, preparing shipments, and maintaining an organized warehouse. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are accurately packaged and shipped while supporting overall warehouse operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Process packing slips accurately and efficiently to meet customer and company deadlines.
- Pick and pack customer orders using SAP software.
- Prepare, package, and organize shipments of small parts and related products.
- Schedule transportation pickups through phone and internet-based systems.
- Verify outgoing shipments are placed in designated warehouse staging areas.
- Maintain warehouse organization through 5S and housekeeping practices.
- Sweep, clean, and organize warehouse racks, bins, floors, and work areas.
- Operate scales to verify shipment weights and accuracy.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and the ability to learn SAP software.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to lift 51 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to wear required OSHA-approved personal protective equipment (PPE).
