Sorter, $17/hr – Auburn Hills, MI
Are you self-motivated and looking for a steady role in a clean, lab-style environment? A company in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Sorter to assist with product inspection and organization. This position offers consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to be part of a quality-focused team.
Shift:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily production goals
- Previous experience in light manufacturing, inspection, or warehouse work preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Skills:
- Insert products into automated machines for inspection
- Monitor machine to ensure accurate part acceptance/rejection
- Sort accepted and rejected parts into designated piles
- Perform re-boxing and packaging tasks as needed
- Assist with shipping preparation when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company safety and quality guidelines
