Spin Forming Operator
Location: Greenville, MI Shift: 3rd Shift Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a mechanically inclined individual looking to grow your skills in manufacturing? We're seeking a Spin Forming Operator to join our 3rd shift team in Greenville, MI. This is a mid-level skilled position with entry-level CNC responsibilities. In this role, you'll operate and set up spin forming machinery to produce quality aluminum components while helping ensure production goals and on-time delivery are met.
Training will be provided on 1st shift for approximately one month before transitioning to the 3rd shift schedule.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Spin Forming Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Machine Operation & Setup: Operate and set up spin forming machinery to produce aluminum components according to production specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the production process.
- Quality & Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and meet production goals.
In addition, you will collaborate with team members to improve production processes, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow all company safety standards while producing components.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Basic CNC experience or knowledge preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to learn machine setup and operation procedures.
- Willingness to train on 1st shift for approximately one month before moving to 3rd shift.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean work environment.
