This role involves painting wood, metal, plastic, and foam parts inside a large industrial paint booth.

We are hiring a Spray Painter
in Madison Heights, MI for a large international graphics and interior design company. This position offers long-term growth opportunities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Spray Painter, your core responsibilities will include:
● Spray Painting:
Apply coatings to wood, metal, plastic, and foam parts using industrial gravity-fed spray guns inside a large paint booth.
● Quality Control: Inspect painted parts to ensure proper coverage, finish quality, and adherence to specifications.
● Production Support: Work efficiently to meet daily production goals in a high-volume environment.
● Material Handling: Lift and move parts up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
● Safety & Housekeeping: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
● Quality Control: Inspect painted parts to ensure proper coverage, finish quality, and adherence to specifications.
● Production Support: Work efficiently to meet daily production goals in a high-volume environment.
● Material Handling: Lift and move parts up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
● Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
● Ability to stand for the entire shift.
● Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.

Skills:
● Spray Gun Operation:
Experience using industrial gravity-fed spray guns (low and high volt) in a manufacturing environment.
● Fast-Paced Production: Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
● Measurement: Ability to read and understand a tape measure to a 1/16th of an inch.
