Spray Painter
Location: Madison Heights, MI Shift: 2nd Pay: Up to $19/hr
Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and expand your experience working with industrial spray equipment and a variety of materials. The ideal candidate will have previous experience using industrial spray guns and maintaining quality finishes. After your time with Workbox Staffing, you will be considered for hire-in!
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Spray Painter, your core responsibilities will include:
• Operate an industrial spray painting gun to apply finishes to products
• Paint wood, metal, plastic, and foam materials according to specifications
• Prepare surfaces and ensure quality appearance of finished products
• Read and follow production instructions and work orders
• Verify measurements using a tape measure as needed
• Inspect painted products for quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support production goals while maintaining quality standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience using an industrial spray gun preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to perform repetitive work throughout the day
Skills:
• Ability to operate a gravity-fed industrial spray gun
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to maintain production standards and deadlines
