to join our team and support our steel receiving and processing operations!
Job Summary:
The Steel Receiver will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming steel coils. This role demands a strong knowledge of steel grades and defects, hands-on experience with cutting torches and overhead cranes, and the ability to accurately enter data into computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect steel coils for quality and accuracy.
- Identify and document steel grades and any associated defects.
- Operate cutting torches to process steel materials as required.
- Utilize computer systems for inventory data entry and reporting.
- Safely load and unload trucks using overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Support general plant operations and assist with related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Preferred 2 years of experience in a steel receiving or similar industrial role.
- Strong knowledge of steel grades and common defects.
- Proficient in the use of cutting torches.
- Forklift operation & Overhead Crane experience is an asset and must be learned for this position.
- Basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory systems).
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
