Job Summary
Liberty Steel is seeking dependable Steel Packagers
to support daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for packaging and banding finished steel products while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on, industrial manufacturing position with long-term potential for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Steel Packager, your responsibilities will include:
- Packaging and banding finished steel products
- Inspecting steel materials for quality and defects
- Repacking steel into designated containers or skids
- Moving steel products to proper staging or shipping areas
- Assisting with general manufacturing and production support as needed
This role involves repetitive, physical work in a steel manufacturing environment and requires strong attention to safety.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience required(steel or industrial manufacturing preferred)
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to perform repetitive, physical work throughout the shift
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Coachable mindset and willingness to learn
