General Laborer, $15–$19/Hour – Fruitport, MI
Are you someone who takes pride in working with your hands and can read

Qualifications:
?? Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch
?? Previous experience with grinding and saws required
?? Familiarity with general fabrication tools
Skills:
?? Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
?? Willingness to learn and complete a working interview
As a General Laborer, not only will you be assisting in metal fabrication
tasks such as grinding and cutting, but you’ll also be supporting welders
and machinists with shop duties as needed. This job, depending on your
work ethic, could be a short-term or a long-term fit.

Job SummaryWe’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our team in Fruitport, MI. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating laser cutting equipment, ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts. This position plays a key role in maintaining production efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Be DoingSet up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines
Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure quality and accuracy
Load and unload materials using an overhead crane
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job specifications
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
What We’re Looking ForQualificationsPrevious experience operating laser cutting equipment preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with overhead crane operation (or willingness to learn)
Basic knowledge of metal materials and fabrication processes
High school diploma or GED preferred
SkillsAbility to safely operate and adjust laser machines
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle and move large materials safely
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
