Location:  Van Buren, MI    Shift:  1st   Pay:  $17/hr   

Job Summary

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a  Supply Chain/Logistics Coordinator  to join our team in  Van Buren, MI.  In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our fast-paced automotive manufacturing operations, ensuring shipments move efficiently, documentation is accurate, and customers receive exceptional service every time.

What You'll Be Doing

As a  Supply Chain/Logistics Coordinator , your core responsibilities will include:
  • Shipping & Receiving Coordination:  Process daily inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, labels, and related documentation are accurate and properly recorded .
  • Data & System Management:  Track releases using OEM and EDI systems, generate Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs), and maintain precise transaction records.
  • Customer & Administrative Support:  Communicate with customers regarding shipping inquiries, update internal databases, and assist with day-to-day administrative duties.
In addition, you will also be expected to perform repacking, labeling, and general labor tasks as needed to support production and shipping demands.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics role within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving documentation, including BOLs, packing lists, labels, and ASNs.
  • Familiarity with OEM release systems or EDI platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong data entry accuracy and record-keeping abilities.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced warehouse environment (standing, lifting, packaging, labeling).
Skills:
  • Attention to Detail:  Ensures all shipping documentation, labeling, and data entries are error-free.
  • Multitasking & Organization:  Balances multiple shipments, administrative tasks, and production priorities in a high-volume setting.
  • Customer Service & Communication:  Effectively assists customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve logistics inquiries quickly.
  • Technical Proficiency:  Utilizes EDI systems and Excel to track, process, and maintain shipment and order data efficiently.
