Job SummaryAmerican Metal Fab Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Tabber to join their production team in Three Rivers, MI. This role involves grinding, pulling, and stacking metal parts in a fast-paced fabrication environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with sharp, heavy metal components and has strong grinding skills.
What You’ll Be DoingGrinding metal parts to remove tabs, sharp edges, and excess material.
Pulling, sorting, and stacking finished parts according to production requirements.
Handling sharp and heavy metal safely throughout the shift.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
Supporting general production tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications
Experience in grinding or metal finishing preferred.
Ability to lift and handle heavy metal parts throughout the shift.
Comfortable working with sharp materials and fast-paced production.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
SkillsGrinding Skills: Ability to grind metal safely and efficiently.
Physical Strength: Able to lift, pull, and stack heavy parts.
Safety Awareness: Understands PPE requirements and safe material handling.
Teamwork: Works well with others to meet production goals.
