 Spring Lake, MI, 2nd shift, $18+/hour

Job Summary
Are you someone who enjoys leading by example, staying organized, and working in a production environment that values quality and precision? Then come check this place out and make a change. We’re seeking a Team Lead to support daily production operations while ensuring materials are processed safely, accurately, and according to company procedures. This company offers a variety of toll processing services including micronizing, blending, repackaging, sifting, and metal detection and removal. Their commitment to quality has allowed them to partner with some of the largest companies in the food, pharmaceutical, and nutritional industries.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Team Lead, not only will you be responsible for processing materials and ensuring production standards are met, but you’ll also help maintain a safe, organized, and hygienic work environment. This includes:
  • Processing material per company procedures and applicable standards
  • Ensuring awareness and compliance with SOPs and safety regulations
  • Completing and maintaining production documentation
  • Processing materials in a hygienic manner
  • Following written and oral instructions accurately
  • Managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing deadlines
  • Working independently or alongside a small team when needed
  • Wearing a respirator and full suit in dusty environments
  • Assisting with forklift operation or becoming forklift trained as needed
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
  • Ability to follow multiple rules and procedures for assigned tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and carry heavy objects
  • Ability to effectively resolve problems and overcome roadblocks
  • Ability to pass a physical and drug screen before starting
  • Ability to read and write legibly
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Prior forklift experience or willingness to learn
  • Must exhibit excellent hygiene practices
Skills:
  • Planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
  • Production background in pharmaceutical and/or food manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
