Job Summary
Are you someone with strong mechanical ability, electrical knowledge, and excellent troubleshooting skills? We’re seeking a Technician to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the safe, efficient, and high-quality assembly, service, and repair of CNC machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
- Machine Assembly & Repair: Assemble, tune, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines to meet quality and performance standards.
- Customer Training & Support: Train customers on machine operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Diagnostics & Logistics: Manage shipping and receiving activities while identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
In addition, you will read and interpret detailed assembly instructions, maintain safety compliance, and support general production and service operations.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with CNC machinery required
- Woodworking or cabinet-making experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed assembly instructions
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally approximately one week per month
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed
Skills:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machine assembly.
- Electrical Knowledge: Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computers for diagnostics, documentation, and communication.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machine issues.
- Customer Service: Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support customers.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work accurately with measurements, instructions, and technical specifications.
- Organization & Dependability: Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
