Textile Production Associate
Spring Lake, MI, 1st Shift, $15.00 per hour
Workbox Staffing is hiring Textile Production Associates for a cordage manufacturing company in Spring Lake! In this role, you will work with textile braiding machines and assist in various manufacturing positions throughout the facility. This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced production environment with opportunities for long-term employment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate and monitor textile braiding machines
- Maintain production pace throughout the shift
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads
- Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Lift and move materials weighing 45–60 pounds on a regular basis
- Work safely and wear all required personal protective equipment
- Assist in various manufacturing and production processes as needed
- Support production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Previous machine operating experience preferred
- Ability to lift 45–60 pounds regularly throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a steady, medium- to fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to work in a physically demanding position
- Willingness to work required overtime after scheduled shifts and on weekends
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
