Pay: $18.40–$19.40/hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Thermoform Operator (Op Tech) to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us produce high-quality thermoformed parts while maintaining safety and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Thermoform Operator (Op Tech), your core responsibilities will include:
● Operating thermoform machines: Producing, inspecting, and packing parts to meet quality standards.
● Training packaging technicians: Supporting team efficiency and maintaining workflow consistency.
● Maintaining safety and quality standards: Ensuring compliance with company expectations and continuous improvement efforts.
In addition, you will also be expected to inspect machinery, equipment, and tooling prior to set-up, identify and communicate issues affecting product quality, perform routine maintenance and cleaning, identify nonconforming materials, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● High school diploma preferred
● Excellent mechanical skills with demonstrated experience
● Ability to pass a vision test (20/40 corrected vision, peripheral and depth perception)
Skills:
● Attention to detail: Critical for inspecting parts and ensuring product quality
● Mechanical aptitude: Important for operating and troubleshooting thermoforming equipment
● Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
