Job Summary:
Join a dedicated and skilled team in Sparta, MI, as a
TIG Welder
on 3rd shift! This position involves production welding of identical parts using TIG welding equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Welding: Weld metal components using TIG techniques based on layouts, diagrams, or work orders.
- Production support: Perform repetitive welding tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Safety: Operate welding equipment safely and follow established procedures.
- Quality assurance: Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet specifications.
- Flexibility:
Assist in other shop tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Previous TIG welding experience or formal welding education required
- Must pass a TIG weld test as part of the interview process
- Must be able to read blue prints
- Familiarity with safety standards in a welding or fabrication environment
Skills:
- Attention to detail: Maintain precision and consistency in all welds.
- Work ethic: Reliable, focused, and committed to quality production.
- Adaptability: Experience in fast-paced metal fabrication or production welding is a plus.
- Additional experience:
MIG welding knowledge is beneficial.
