What You'll Be Doing
As a Tool Room General Repair II Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
- Building new tooling, stamping dies, fixtures, and gauges according to blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
- Setting up and operating tool room equipment such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and surface grinders.
- Measuring, marking, and machining metal stock for fabrication and repair.
- Assembling, fitting, and polishing parts to create accurate and functional assemblies.
- Verifying dimensions and alignments using precision measuring instruments.
In addition, you will also be expected to troubleshoot die issues with production and quality teams, perform welding and fabrication as needed, maintain a clean work area, and comply with all safety regulations.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Crane and Hi-Lo licenses required.
- Previous experience in tool and die, machining, or tool room work preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to machine accurately, including close-tolerance work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and scales.
- Familiarity with CNC milling, wire EDM, MIG and TIG welding operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
