Tooling / Mold Maintenance Technician
Location: Sheridan, MI Shift: 1st shift Pay:$20/hr
Job Summary
We’re looking for a Tooling / Mold Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll perform preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs on molds, dies, fixtures, machinery, and tools according to a set schedule. You’ll work closely with the Tooling Lead and Technical Manager to ensure all production tooling and equipment operate efficiently and safely.

- Clean and grease molds, tools, and fixtures as scheduled.
- Assist manufacturing with mold maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Operate mills, surface grinders, lathes, and EDM machines (advanced training provided over time).
- Perform preventative maintenance on dies, molds, and equipment to reduce downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action processes to support productivity and quality goals.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to obtain a hi-lo (forklift) license.
- Must be able to supply own tools.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of tooling, machining, or mold maintenance processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
