Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $18.00/hour

Job Summary
We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Trailer Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling and installing various components of marine boat trailers, including axles, wheels and tires, brake systems, and lights. The ideal candidate has experience using hand and power tools, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets safety and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Trailer Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:
  1. Assembling Marine Boat Trailers: Install trailer components such as axles, wheels, tires, brake systems, lights, and related hardware.
  2. Reading Technical Drawings: Read and interpret technical drawings to determine assembly requirements.
  3. Performing Quality Checks: Inspect completed trailers to ensure finished products meet company standards and safety regulations.
  4. Supporting Production Goals: Collaborate with team members to complete daily job assignments and meet production goals on time.
  5. Maintaining Inventory Accuracy: Assist with inventory control through cycle counting and part usage reporting.
  6. Maintaining a Clean Work Area: Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
In addition, you will assist with other shop-related tasks as required to support daily production operations.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
  1. Previous manufacturing, assembly, trailer assembly, or mechanical experience preferred.
  2. Experience working with hand and power tools.
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred.
  4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Skills
  1. Mechanical Assembly: Ability to assemble and install trailer components accurately.
  2. Tool Operation: Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  3. Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure all assembly work meets safety regulations and quality standards.
  4. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
  5. Inventory Support: Ability to assist with cycle counting and part usage reporting.
  6. Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  2. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  3. Ability to bend, reach, twist, kneel, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  4. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  5. Ability to work in a shop or manufacturing environment.
