Job Summary
Are you a motivated and hardworking individual who enjoys hands-on work and fast-paced environments? We're seeking a Truss Builder
to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you'll play a vital part in constructing high-quality wood trusses that support building projects across the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Truss Builder, your core responsibilities will include:
- Assembly of Wood Trusses: Build trusses to blueprint specifications using both hand and power tools.
- Tool Use: Operate hammers, nail guns, and other tools safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
- Production Support: Work in a fast-paced environment to maintain output and product quality.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment and support seasonal production demands.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Prior truss assembly, framing, or construction experience helpful but not required
- Must bring an orange vest and 22 oz (minimum) hammer on the first day
- Strong reliability and attendance due to seasonal production needs
Skills:
- Hand & Power Tool Knowledge: Helps ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
- Endurance in a Production Environment: Ability to stand and work throughout the shift.
- Dependability: Strong attendance and punctuality are crucial to team success.
