In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and operating tube mills to produce high-quality tubes. Responsibilities for the Tube Mill Operator
- Set up and operate tube mill machinery.
- Monitor machine cycles and detect malfunctions.
- Perform quality checks using measuring devices and record results.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and dual trolley cranes safely.
- Review incoming orders, package, and tag materials.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain product quality.
Key Qualifications for the Tube Mill Operator
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and plans.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift, stand, and move throughout the shift.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of quality control methods and systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
