Shift – Warehouse Associate and Box Truck Driver $

- In this role you will be responsible for handling all logistical duties driving box truck between facilities, warehouse responsibilities. A Team Player to support the entire production is required and may include other duties and responsibilities not listed below.
- Must Have a Clean Driving MVR report . DOES NOT require a Commercial Class B or C license .
Qualifications
:
- Must know how to use a sit down Forklift
- Reads sales orders, to determine items to be picked, packed and/or shipped.
- Drive Box Truck to convey materials back and forth from Production facility, vendors, etc.
- Verify materials to BOLs
- Coordinate with the other departments to contact for timely pick up of shipment.
- Load and unload truck without damaging product or materials
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to
predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product.
- Pulls material from sales orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to converting operations.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing stations for shipping.
- May be required to mark materials with identifying information, bar codes, scans bar codes and records number of materials or items received or distributed.
- Weighs, measures and/or counts materials to ensure conformance to standards
- Uses proper packaging techniques and follows established methods for protecting products during shipping as noted in quality work instructions.
- May be required to use computer to enter records, track
material and control inventory..
- Responsible for general warehouse housekeeping and safe work habits.
- Create packing lists, labels, serial numbers and assist with bills of lading for all products shipped.
- Coordinate loading and unloading of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the stockroom, dock area and outside shipping/receiving areas.
- Ensure all incoming purchase parts are received correctly and staged on the correct job cart and/or in the correct stock location.
- Always demonstrate proper usage of PPE, as well as safe handling of machinery, tools and equipment.

- Must understand and maintain written records and documentation (daily activity)
- Must be professional as this individual will represent client at customer/vendor locations
- Ability to read / comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved
written or oral instructions.
- Must have a valid Forklift License or ability to become forklift certified
- Warehouse experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Follows all Motor Vehicle Driving laws and regulations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
