Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team, responsible for safely operating company trucks for local deliveries and pickups, while also assisting with warehouse duties. This role requires a valid driver's license, DOT medical certification, and forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company box trucks for local deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload materials using a forklift or pallet jack
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain delivery logs and paperwork
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed
Key Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- 2 years of experience driving a box truck
- Forklift certification or proven experience operating forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- DOT medical certification (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in warehouse operations
- Road test certificate (we can administer)
- MVR check with no violations (last 3 years)
