Job Summary
We are seeking hardworking, reliable Warehouse Associates to join a package and parcel delivery company in Grand Rapids, MI. This position involves inbound/outbound material handling, forklift work, loading and unloading, and detailed sorting responsibilities. Candidates must be able to perform heavy lifting, especially for furniture items in our La-Z-Boy account, which are floor-loaded. You will also assist with sorting IKEA freight, requiring strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Forklift experience is
preferred but not required
for this position.
- Load and unload trucks/containers and put away product.
- Pick and pull customer orders accurately.
- Handle inbound/outbound materials properly and efficiently.
- Run reconciliation reports to verify transaction accuracy.
- Check outbound materials against paperwork to ensure correctness.
- Sort La-Z-Boy furniture (heavy lifting required; floor-loaded freight).
- Sort IKEA freight (requires strong attention to detail).
- Perform general warehouse maintenance, including stock rotation (FIFO) and equipment upkeep.
- Assist the Logistics Supervisor with various operational tasks.
- Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other associates.
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic communication and math skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (heavier lifting required for furniture items).
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
