Location:  Madison Heights, MI  Shift:  1st Shift  Pay: $18/hr

Job Summary
Are you looking for a dynamic role in a manufacturing environment? We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Madison Heights, MI. In this role, you will support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with forklift experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
• Operate a forklift to safely move materials throughout the warehouse
• Receive, store, and retrieve materials, tools, equipment, and products
• Assist with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and inspecting incoming shipments
• Match purchase orders to sales orders to ensure inventory accuracy
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and prepare orders for shipment
• Sort, label, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
• Prepare parcels and shipments for delivery
• Perform physical inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and man-lifts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Experience with JD Edwards (E1) software is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good analytical and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Skills:
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
• Strong computer and inventory management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
