Job Summary
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a hands-on warehouse opportunity? We’re seeking dependable Warehouse Laborers / Forklift Operators
to join a busy warehouse team handling trim, wood products, and large materials. This role requires someone who is comfortable operating a forklift with large, awkward loads
while also jumping in to assist with physical warehouse duties throughout the day.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Laborer / Forklift Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Forklift Operation:
Safely move, transport, stage, and organize large, awkward loads of trim and wood products using a forklift. Typical builds can be approximately 16' x 42" x 30", requiring strong awareness and precision during movement.
Material Handling & Shipping:
Assist with boxing pallets, shrink wrapping pallets, loading and unloading trucks, and preparing products for shipment.
Warehouse Support:
Help maintain an organized warehouse by moving materials, putting inventory away, cleaning work areas, and assisting with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
In addition, you will inspect materials for quality concerns, assist with unloading incoming shipments, maintain safe warehouse practices, and support overall warehouse productivity.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required, especially moving large or awkward materials.
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable performing both forklift work and physical labor.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic required.
Skills:
- Forklift Proficiency: Safe operation while moving oversized or awkward loads.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable with lifting, moving materials, and hands-on warehouse work.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well with others to support daily operations.
