1st Shift - Warehouse Associate, $18/hr, Grand Rapids, MI

Preferred Skills:
- Load, unload trucks/containers (receiving/shipping) & put away product using forklift.
- Pick and pull customers’ orders.
- Inbound/outbound material handling accurately and properly.
- Run reconciliation report to verify receiving transaction validity and accuracy.
- Check outbound materials accuracy against the requirement/paperwork
- General warehouse maintenance including stock rotation (FIFO), DANCO, and warehouse equipment.
- Assist Logistics Supervisor in providing a wide variety of functions.
- Must be able to work as a team and be responsive to other associates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic communication & mathematical skills, written & oral.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of and adherence to basic safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Detail Oriented
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
We are seeking some hardworking, reliable Warehouse Associates to come work for a package and parcel delivery company located in Grand Rapids, MI! You will be working 8am-4:30pm M-F with some Saturday overtime if needed. In this position, your duties would consist of picking orders,sorting through freight, inbound/outbound material handling, and loading/unloading trucks & containers and putting product away using forklift, as well as some cleaning.
