1st shift - Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator, $18+/hr - Kentwood, MI

Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing
- environment
- Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing
- environment preferred
- Strong sense of responsibility and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy items as required
- Willingness to work flexible hours and help wherever needed
Preferred Skills:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient
- manner
- Wrap skids and prepare products for shipment according to company standards
- Load and unload trucks while verifying accuracy of deliveries and shipments
- Stage parts at the production line to ensure timely production flow
- Store parts in designated locations with attention to organization and inventory
- accuracy
- Perform end-of-day plant shutdown and secure the facility
- Assist in general warehouse duties and support other departments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines and procedures
In this role candidates will be supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations, including material handling, shipment preparation, and plant close-down procedures. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and willing to assist wherever needed.
