Job Summary
Are you an organized leader with experience in logistics and manufacturing operations? We are seeking a GL Parts Supervisor to oversee G-Part conveyance operations supporting prototype vehicle assembly. This role is responsible for managing the end- to-end flow of General (G) Parts from MSE DTW through receiving, staging, tugger delivery, and assembly line support while ensuring efficient operations, team performance, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
As a GL Parts Supervisor, your core responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing all G-Part receiving, sorting, staging, and delivery operations at Dock 14/15.
• Managing the complete tugger delivery process, including scheduling, routing, loading, and ensuring deliveries are completed in the correct build order.
• Monitoring and recording team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure productivity and operational performance.
• Training team members on standardized work (JIS) and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinating daily material flow to support prototype vehicle assembly operations.
• Ensuring accurate and timely movement of materials from receiving through final assembly line delivery.
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Supporting production schedules while ensuring quality and customer requirements are met.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in logistics, parts conveyance, or assembly support within a manufacturing or prototype/R&D environment preferred.
• Experience supervising or leading warehouse, logistics, or production teams preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Skills & Abilities:
• Strong knowledge of logistics and material flow operations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Experience training employees on standardized work processes (JIS).
• Ability to analyze KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Must follow all required PPE and company safety procedures.
