Warehouse Team Member
Grand Rapids, MI Shift: 1st Shift, 
Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm
Pay: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to support daily warehouse and distribution operations in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you’ll help ensure customers, team members, and branch locations receive the correct products—damage-free, on time, and with exceptional service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a team-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Team Member, your core responsibilities will include:
Order Picking & Fulfillment
  • Select orders quickly and accurately using scanners and pick queues.
  • Stage, split, and backorder items as needed.
  • Inspect products for damage and print/apply barcode labels when required.
  • Assist with loading delivery and transfer trucks.
  • Support UPS and other shipping processes, including packing, labeling, and entering tracking information.
Stocking & Inventory
  • Put away totes and replenish primary locations.
  • Rotate stock and condense partial pallets.
  • Assist with cycle counts and return-to-stock processes (crediting customers, filing paperwork, etc.).
Receiving
  • Unload trucks and inspect incoming products for damage or discrepancies.
  • File damage/discrepancy claims and photograph damaged items.
  • Match received products to purchase orders and complete receiving tasks once all parts are accounted for.
  • Label products, deliver packages throughout the branch, and help material handlers as needed.
Shipping & Delivery Support
  • Schedule pick-ups and complete bills of lading.
  • Wrap, secure, and load products for shipment.
  • Determine the most cost-effective and timely carrier options.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all shipments.
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use.
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and dock area.
  • Assist with snow removal, trash disposal, and general facility upkeep.
Additional Duties
  • Assist with equipment loading/unloading.
  • Support counter sales when needed.
  • Help set up for special events.
  • Participate in annual inventory and regular cycle counts.
  • Handle recyclables such as pop cans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–6 months of warehouse, distribution, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., stand/walk for long periods, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and use hands frequently.
  • Ability to work in environments with temperature changes, moving machinery, and moderate noise.
Skills
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with dependable attendance and punctuality.
