Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a General Laborer to join our team in Grant, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations at a fertilizer plant, helping support local farmers and ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to keep agriculture moving forward.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload product by hand or with a forklift to support daily warehouse operations.
Warehouse Support: Assist with general warehouse tasks to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
Material Handling: Move and stack fertilizer and related materials to ensure timely delivery and storage.
In addition, you will also be expected to work overtime as required to meet business needs and seasonal demands.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications
Prior forklift experience preferred but not required
Warehouse experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the shift
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Skills
Teamwork: Friendly and able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Focus: A positive, customer-first attitude to support farmers and internal teams.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and consistently.
