Job Title: Warehouse/Forklift Operator
Hart, MI, 1st shift, $17.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to join our team in Hart, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of operations at a fertilizer plant, helping support local farmers and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently to keep agriculture moving forward. 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm and overtime on Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Warehouse/Forklift Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload product by hand or with a forklift to support daily warehouse operations.
- Warehouse Support: Assist with general warehouse tasks to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
- Material Handling: Move and stack fertilizer and related materials to ensure timely delivery and proper storage.
- Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift for the majority of daily tasks, ensuring safe and efficient material movement.
- Overtime Requirements: Work overtime as needed to meet business needs and seasonal demands.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Prior forklift experience preferred
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the shift
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Intermediate-level forklift experience (comfortable and safety-focused, not necessarily expert-level)
