Hart, MI , 2nd Shift, $18.50/hour
Job Summary
A Hart manufacturer specializing in cold storage solutions is seeking Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving Associates to join their growing team on 2nd Shift. This is a hands-on role responsible for stocking inventory, pulling orders, loading and unloading shipments, and helping ensure products are accurately received, stored, and shipped. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that values teamwork and safety.
What You'll Be Doing
- Read customer orders to determine items to be stored, pulled, or distributed
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments
- Stock inventory and pull orders within the warehouse
- Follow all operational, quality, and safety standards
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Support other warehouse functions as needed
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping & receiving, or material handling experience preferred
- Previous forklift/hi-lo experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to work in a cold storage environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
Skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to adapt and assist in various departments when needed
- Good organizational and time management skills
