Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring Warehouse Sorters in Byron Center! In this role, you’ll help sort and prepare secondhand clothing to be distributed globally, making a positive impact across communities worldwide. This is a short-term assignment expected to run through December 1st.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Sorter, your core responsibilities will include:
- Sorting clothing on a production line according to type and quality.
- Moving product from a binding machine to the warehouse using a forklift.
- Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift as needed.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Assisting with additional warehouse tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the full duration of the shift.
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
Skills:
- Team-oriented and able to work well with others.
- Dependable and consistent attendance.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
