Job Summary
This role involves assisting with the preparation, assembly, and maintenance of wire products and rigging materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cutting, measuring, and assembling wire rope and related products
- Support the production team in preparing wire slings, cables, and rigging equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Key Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial environment
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in a labor or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Quality Control experience
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Basic math skills
