Production Blending Operator, Up to $25/hr – Wixom, MI

Qualifications:
- Set up production equipment and ensure all supplies are ready before executing job orders
- Operate production machines effectively and safely following company guidelines
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions
- Adhere to all company safety procedures, especially those involving hazardous materials
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized at all times
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, including process improvement and special projects
- Maintain good communication with team members and supervisors
Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6 months to 1 year of production operation experience required; chemical production experience is a plus
- Basic math skills required, must be able to do conversions
- Ability to operate production machines and handle chemicals safely
- Forklift certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical communication ability
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and distinguish color differences
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, hazmat, and respiratory masks
