Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting hourly sanitation rounds throughout the facility, focusing on high-touch, common surfaces. You’ll also help maintain cleanliness across the production area and assist in other departments as needed. All necessary personal protective equipment and training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks throughout the facility
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Work with sanitation chemicals to ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed
- Support the production team when needed
- Participate in product taste testing as required
- Keep surrounding work areas clean and orderly
Key Qualifications:
- Strong manual dexterity with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Trainable and open to learning new processes
- Able to stay on task and work with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Flexible with scheduling as needed
