Pay: $20–$28/hour
Job Summary
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented welder looking for an opportunity to work on high-quality structural projects? We're seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll fabricate and weld steel parts according to blueprint specifications, playing an essential part in producing strong, precise, and reliable metal components.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Welder/Fabricator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Manufacturing and Fabrication: Produce finished metal products that meet structural and quality standards.
- Blueprint and Specification Compliance: Follow blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure precision and consistency.
- Welding and Assembly: Assemble and weld structures and sub-assemblies using MIG welding techniques.
In addition, you’ll be expected to inspect welds for quality and tolerance, maintain a safe and clean workspace, and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or experience as a structural welder with the ability to join, fabricate, and weld metal tube and pipe
- Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, or schematics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Skills:
- MIG Welding Proficiency: Skilled in MIG welding of thin-gauge and mild steel materials to meet high-quality standards.
- Measurement & Symbol Literacy: Ability to read a tape measure, weld symbols, and welding gauges accurately.
- Fabrication Expertise: Strong fabrication abilities and knowledge of AWS standards.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent time management and commitment to producing quality work.
